That's what CAPM is about. - there are hundreds of prep question writers at PMI. They have different styles, areas of interest and opinions. Make sure that you use a variety of sources of prep questions to be prepared for that. Don't just rely on Rita alone. Lehmann, PMP.
In my experience Rita’s book helps you to get your mindset in the right direction, especially if you read them two or thrice. The test questions are not as simple as you find in Rita’s chapter end question. But Rita’s chapter end questions and their Prep Test they have really get you going and help you pass. I put in about 10 days straight, finished the book about 3 times along with other books that I wanted to read, took the 4 hour test twice, got 85% on the first time, got 70% on the second round. I took my exam and passed. I was able to connect some questions of Rita’s chapter end to get some correct answers.
Hope this helps. Good Luck Laxmi.
Rita's questions are very good for practice because if you are able to score more then 90% in her exams, then there is a very high possibility of clearing the real exam of PMP without much problem. Generally you will not find very long questions in real exam where Rita's questions are bit long and descriptive. I used 3 books for the exam preparation and I cleared in 12 days. 1) Kin Heldmen. 2) Rita 5th Edition, and 3) PMBOK. I read all 3 books 3 times in 10 days and last 2 days I did practice from online exams.
Regards, Ieshan Jain. Careful, you should not rely on one single source of prep questions only! PMI assigned many item writers to the creation of the real questions and answers. Each of them has an own style, they come from various industrial cultures and sometimes have different opinions. If you use only one source for prep questions, you will not get the diversity of the items, which you will find in the real test. Gladly enough, there is a broad offer on the Internet with free prep questions from various sources. I put a list of those offerings I know online at www.oliverlehmann.com/pmp-self-test/75-free-questions.htm (please scroll to the bottom of the page).
