Session Count is increased whenever a unique client ID or connection to the PSQL engine first opens a file or puts a table in use. A Session ends when the last file or query is closed. Current and peak Sessions are tracked. • Data In Use - Data in Use is defined as the total size of all concurrently open data files. Data in use is not affected by the number of sessions concurrently using a file. If a file is immediately closed after a large number of records have been inserted, Monitor does not immediately reflect the change in file size. For example, the number for 'Data In Use MB' is not refreshed for that file until the next time the file is opened for reading or writing.
