Hi fellow techexperts, Regarding the topic above, I have recently changed my laptop's lcd screen from the Samsung LTN140AT08 S02 to LG's LP140WH2-TLA2. It works fine initially but later on the colour of the screen changed to its 'inverted' colour. The seller that I bought the screen from has asked me to uninstall and reinstall the video driver and so did I but nothing changed. My display driver is ATI Radeon 5650. I saw another possible action that I might take but I am still not sure how to do it that is uninstalling and reinstalling the Generic PnP monitor driver.

Is that case possible? I can't find any driver to that in the Sony Support Centre. Any clues or help that I could possibly get to save my screen? Regards Andrew This post has been edited by leelc99: Nov 29 2011, 09:37 AM Attached thumbnail(s).

@Efalex Thanks for the comment bro. However, my laptop is currently connected to an external LCD monitor and everything works fine in the external monitor. About LCD screen being broken, it is impossible because I just replaced a new one yesterday since my old one is broken. This current LCD works fine initially after I install it. But then the colour turns 'inverted' whenever it refreshes like when the screen refreshes when I connect my laptop to an external monitor. It turns inverted after that.

I have disassemble and reassemble the LCD panel several times and everything works fine initially (without it refreshing by doing certain process such as switching to an external monitor when it will goes to 'black screen' for a while before the screen comes back online, if you get what I mean.). I would be happy to post a video of it getting f-ed if you want a clearer picture of what I am saying. Graphic card works fine. External monitor has no problem whatsoever. If LCD connector is loose, it would not work in the properly after everytime I reassemble the LCD (which in this case it works perfectly fine ). Anything you guys want me to try or maybe upload some videos doing some trials to my LCD pls let me know I am glad that you are willing to help too.
